Two days after Heat coach Erik burberry ties Spoelstra said talk about his stars needing rest before the playoffs were “ridiculous,” guard Dwyane Wade took the day off Sunday against the Pistons.
Officially, Wade missed the game due to a slightly sprained ankle he twisted “I think on one of those dunk attempts” against the Grizzlies on Friday, according to Spoelstra.
Wade has missed two of his past four games and hasn’t played against a team under .500 in April. Spoelstra called Wade’s sprained ankle “nothing major.”
“It was a little bit swollen,” Spoelstra burberry outlet said. “We will rest him and he will be day-to-day from the here.”
The Heat plays the Celtics on Tuesday before traveling to Chicago on Thursday. From there, the Heat plays eight games in 11 days, likely its most brutal stretch of this condensed, four-month season.
On Friday, Spoelstra railed against the media for manufacturing a “storyline” that the Heat’s stars need a break before the postseason.
“This is becoming such a story line now,” Spoelstra said. “We used to joke about it years ago that the media will start talking about resting guys three weeks, a month before the season ends. This is absurd.
“Does everyone burberry shoes for men feel 100 percent? No. Is there some physical fatigue? Yes. Is there some mental fatigue? Probably. Every team is going through that. We’re not going to shut it down with three weeks to go. That type of storyline is getting ridiculous.”
Miller returns
Heat forward Mike Miller returned Sunday after missing 14 consecutive games due to a high-ankle sprain.
“I’m just happy to be back, just happy to get some Ray ban sunglasses playing time,” Miller said before the game. “We’re focused on these last 13-14 games and ready to go here.”
Miller checked into the game with 2:27 left in the first quarter for Shane Battier, who started in place of Wade.
Tweaks are coming
Before the game, Oakley sunglasses Spoelstra hinted toward minor “tweaks” in his rotation over the next few weeks. It didn’t take long to figure out just what those changes were on Sunday.
Rookie Norris Cole only played the final 4:32 and scored 10 points with the game out of reach in the fourth quarter while rookie Terrel Harris played 12:32 and was the first player off the bench in the first quarter.
“I’m actually cautiously optimistic about a burberry sunglasses 2012 couple of the tweaks that I’m going to make,” Spoelstra said. “Some of them I have been able to see and some of them I have not.”
Other adjustments to the rotation included James Jones receiving playing time in the second quarter.
He made three three-pointers in the period. Also, center Joel Anthony played a larger role off the bench against the Pistons after missing the first half against the Grizzlies.
“I think the majority of the guys are very comfortable with their roles,” Spoelstra said. “The small tweaks that I’ll make are to put in motion some other tweaks that I will make.” Armani sunglasses for women, cheap armani glasses for men sale.
The decision to bench Cole, who had played in a team-high 54 games before Sunday, wasn’t exactly a difficult one.
Before Sunday, he was 2 for 21 in his past four games and previously hadn’t made a field goal since last week’s embarrassing loss to the Celtics.
“I feel pretty comfortable about a few louis vuitton sunglasses things going forward, even if I have not pulled the trigger,” Spoelstra said.

Prior to Justin Bieber’s burberry ties eighteenth birthday, there was a lot of wonder about whether the teen idol could continue his success into adulthood. We likely won’t know the true answer to that for at least another decade, but let’s just say he’s off to a pretty good start. The Biebs’ new single “Boyfriend”, his first since being allowed to smoke, somehow moved an astounding one hundred and seventy-two thousand units during its four twenty-four hour period, and that’s arguably not even the best part.

It can't be all victory tours and dessert buffets for "The Hunger Games": The film has some critics making controversial statements about star Jennifer Lawrence -- specifically regarding her weight.
The film tells of a malnourished North American nation, Panem, under the control of a sleek and excessive capitol city, with the participants in the annual fight-to-the-death Hunger Games depicted as skin-and-bones teenagers clawing for survival.
Some folks find that Lawrence looked a little too well-fed to play the bow-toting Katness Everdeen.
"A few years ago burberry shoes for men Ms. Lawrence might have looked hungry enough to play Katniss, but now, at 21, her seductive, womanly figure makes a bad fit for a dystopian fantasy about a people starved into submission," said Manohla Dargis of the New York Times.
A bold indictment, if you ask us, of a 21-year-old star who currently captivates the attention of impressionable young females and her same-aged peers in show business. But are the critical sentiments -- Vulture has a comprehensive roundup -- correct?
On the one hand, the content adapted from Suzanne Collins' dark novels dictates that these oppressed citizens are in fact emaciated. But by all standards Lawrence is hardly overweight, though widely attributed with that dread celeb magazine buffer of "curvy."
