Bosh made his hurried arrangements to leave the team Wednesday

Jered Weaver, celebrating late into the night Wednesday with about eight of his Los Angeles Angels' teammates after his no-hitter against the Minnesota Twins, woke up cheap louis vuitton shoes Thursday morning and found his cell phone jammed with messages. There were 116 text messages from people everyone from his brother, former pitcher Jeff Weaver, to David Wells, who threw a perfect game in 1998 against Minnesota. He was still pumped up all day, and was so energized, he said, that he felt like he could have started Thursday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays, too. The Angels didn't take him up on his offer, and instead went with Dan Haren, "We were joking that the only way he can top what Jered did is by throwing a perfect game,'' said Angels veteran reliever LaTroy Hawkins, who was nearly kicked out of his own bullpen when he yelled out in the eighth inning, "Hey, he's got a no-hitter going.' '' If truth be known, Weaver actually defied his own superstitions by running to the bathroom just before the ninth inning. "When nature calls, you got to answer that call,'' Weaver said. "I had to let it go.'' Weaver, who donated a baseball and jersey to the Hall of Fame, also gave his dad, Dave, a baseball. And yes, a cold can of Bud Lite, too, one of the many cans and champagne bottles sprayed onto him when he walked into the clubhouse. "The Weavers like their Bud Lites,'' Weaver said, laughing. If he can't get a beer commercial out of the no-hitter, Weaver at least hopes to get on the Letterman Show. He's a huge fan, and was supposed to film a segment Thursday for the talk-show host, but technical problems thwarted his interview. Weaver laughed when it was suggested that he might have to throw another no-hitter to get on Letterman. He never dreamed he'd throw a no-hitter in the major leagues, let alone become the first individual Angels' pitcher to throw a no-hitter since Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan in 1975 sale vuiton against Baltimore. Ironically, there were seven pitchers who started Wednesday night that had thrown a no-hitter in their career, but Weaver not only joined the group, but become the only one of the eight to win their game. "It was a great moment for him,'' said Angels manager Mike Scioscia, with Weaver performing the feat in his hometown, with his parents and wife were in attendance. "Some guys have an incredible experience with that. Some guys have a negative experience with that. "I don't know if there's a better fit for Weav.'' Bosh flew more than 3,600 miles in a span of about 24 hours — starting with the team's charter to New York on Wednesday, then an unplanned trip back to Miami that night after receiving word that his wife was in labor, and ultimately back to New York for Game 3 of an Eastern Conference first-round series against the Knicks. Bosh arrived at Madison Square Garden about 30 minutes before tip-off, getting a cheer from teammates in the locker room. He was on the court for warmups like usual, and clapped his hands repeatedly moments before the game began. "He's very excited," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra louis vuitton earrings said. "While he may not be fully rested, he has an incredible amount of excitement right now." Bosh's wife Adrienne gave birth to the couple's first child, a boy named Jackson, around 3 a.m. Thursday. She posted a photo of Bosh boarding a charter jet to a social media account late Wednesday night with the caption of, "Thank God for private flights…Hurry home Baby." Hours later, Jackson Bosh arrived. "A great moment for their family," Spoelstra said. When Bosh made his hurried arrangements to leave the team Wednesday — hours after saying he thought the birth was at least a few days away — he told Spoelstra that he wanted to get back for Game 3, and he did. Bosh's plane touched down in the New York area around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, and after some time fighting traffic he arrived at the arena. "From a Dream, To a Thought, To Reality, To being in our Arms," Adrienne Bosh posted on Twitter a few hours after giving birth. Many of Bosh's teammates can relate to what he's going through, juggling family responsibility with the demands of the playoffs. Shane Battier's wife delivered a girl last season while Memphis — Battier's former team — was facing San Antonio in the postseason. Mike Miller's wife gave birth during last season's Heat playoff run, and LeBron James' now-fiancee Savannah Brinson delivered their second child during Cleveland's appearance in the 2007 finals. James and Dwyane Wade said they expected Bosh would get back in time for the game. "It can be physically draining because you don't get much sleep while you're going through that whole process," James said. "But as far as mentally draining, I think black lv suits the best way to deal with it is make sure the family's OK, make sure his wife of course is OK, and this is a great way to get away from it, to come back here and play the game of basketball." Bosh averaged 15 points and 5 rebounds in the first two games of the series, which Miami led 2-0 heading into Thursday night.
